That's the part that stays with me — seeing the cost clearly and still saying it was worth it. Maybe that's the actual marker of a journey you'd choose again: not that it was painless, but that you'd pay the same price knowingly.

When I planned to open a second venue in another city, I had to hire about ten more people with 6 months in advance. That meant more work for everyone involved in the training, and more expenses since banks where slow to lend money, and in the end didn't support my company.

Then, of course, there were bureaucratic problems to let the venue officially start working, and had to postpone a couple of months while paying everyone, with a pipeline of 600 leads waiting to be closed - that was another extra cost we needed to support on our own.

In the end, we managed to keep all the pieces together and almost doubled revenue the following year, but yes, growth can be very demanding.
